Bhatkal – Life Care Specialty Hospital, in partnership with Adarsha Hospital, Udupi, successfully organized an important medical and educational program titled “Adarsha Hospital Connect” on the evening of Sunday, January 11. The event focused on critical topics including emergency medicine, timely diagnosis, and integrated patient care, aiming to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration among doctors.

The program took place at Hotel Royal Oak in Bhatkal and saw participation from numerous doctors and healthcare professionals from Bhatkal and surrounding areas. Senior Anesthesiologist Dr. Savita Kamath attended as the chief guest.

The event featured detailed academic sessions on various medical subjects. Dr. Suhas GC, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist, spoke about ECG emergencies, highlighting the importance of timely diagnosis and immediate response in cardiac cases.

Dr. Megha Pai, Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician, discussed glomerular diseases and emphasized their impact on kidney function, stressing the need for early screening.

Dr. Rajesh Nair, Consultant Neurosurgeon, addressed traumatic brain injuries and explained the critical importance of prompt diagnosis and treatment in such cases.

Dr. Kenneth Crispin from Life Care Specialty Hospital emphasized the necessity of timely kidney screening for diabetic patients. Dr. MD. Naushad, Consultant Radiologist, explained the role of imaging in acute stroke cases and the importance of early accurate diagnosis.

Dr. Mohammed Nawab, Medical Director of Life Care Hospital, Bhatkal, and Dr. G. S. Chandrashekar, Medical Director of Adarsha Hospital, Udupi, also participated in the event. They engaged with attendees in discussions about strengthening collaboration in the healthcare sector.

The event was also attended by Dr. Zubair Kola, Managing Director of Life Care Hospital, social worker Salman Jubapu, Nazeer Kashimji, and several senior doctors and healthcare experts.

According to Life Care Specialty Hospital, such educational programs are part of ongoing efforts to promote Continuing Medical Education (CME) and improve the quality of patient care.

The program concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, followed by dinner for all participants.
