King Salman Approves Special Umrah Program for 1,000 Pilgrims from 66 Countries
Saudi Arabia will host selected Muslim leaders and influential personalities as royal guests under a special Umrah and visitation initiative.

Riyadh: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has approved a special initiative to host 1,000 Umrah pilgrims from 66 countries under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visitation.
The program is designed for distinguished and influential figures from the Muslim world who are invited to Saudi Arabia as royal guests. It reflects the Kingdom’s continued efforts to strengthen ties with Muslim communities across the globe.
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance announced that the initiative will be implemented in four phases during the Islamic year 1448 AH.
Under the first phase, 250 pilgrims from 16 Asian countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, China, Japan and Singapore, will be invited to perform Umrah and visit the holy sites in Saudi Arabia.
Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh expressed his gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their support of the program.
He said the initiative aims to promote unity, brotherhood and stronger connections among Muslims worldwide. The program also seeks to enhance cooperation and lasting relationships between scholars, religious leaders and influential members of Muslim communities across different countries.
Saudi officials described the initiative as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to serving Islam and supporting engagement among Muslim societies around the world.
