Karnataka Extends Ration Card e KYC Deadline to November 10
Beneficiaries can complete verification through the Anna Seve app or at ration shops, including those living outside Karnataka

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has extended the deadline for ration card e KYC verification to November 10, 2026, from the earlier deadline of October 20, giving beneficiaries additional time to complete the process.
According to the department, 1,15,87,298 beneficiaries whose e KYC was completed more than a year ago must undergo verification again. Another 3,82,362 beneficiaries have never completed e KYC, while 54,27,396 people whose verification was completed more than five years ago are also yet to complete the required process.
Beneficiaries can complete their e KYC through the Anna Seve mobile application or by visiting their ration shops, where the process is available through the AHARA software.
In a further relief for ration cardholders who have moved to other states for employment, the department has expanded the availability of the Anna Seve app nationwide. Beneficiaries living outside Karnataka can now complete their verification remotely without returning to the state.
Those who have already installed the application can update it to access the latest facility. The department has warned that action may be taken according to the applicable rules against beneficiaries who fail to complete the process by the revised deadline.
Ration cardholders are advised to complete their e KYC before November 10 to avoid possible disruption to their ration related benefits.
