Karnataka Clears ₹6,252 Crore Projects, Set to Create Over 30,000 Jobs
The state approves 83 industrial projects, with most investments planned outside Bengaluru as part of the government’s Beyond Bengaluru strategy.

Karnataka has approved 83 industrial investment proposals worth a combined ₹6,252.86 crore, with the projects expected to generate more than 30,054 jobs across the state.
The approvals were granted by the State Level Single Window Clearance Committee at a meeting chaired by Large and Medium Industries Minister MB Patil on August 12.
A significant feature of the latest clearances is the focus on expanding industrial activity beyond Bengaluru. Of the 83 approved projects, 69 are planned in districts outside Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural.
The move is expected to strengthen the state government’s Beyond Bengaluru initiative, which aims to attract industries and create employment opportunities across different regions rather than concentrating economic activity in the capital.
Projects of various sizes have received approval. Twenty four projects involving investments of more than ₹50 crore account for ₹4,702.99 crore and are expected to generate around 25,170 jobs.
Another 57 projects, with individual investments ranging from ₹15 crore to ₹50 crore, represent investments of ₹1,291.87 crore and are expected to create 4,884 jobs.
Two additional projects involving investments below ₹15 crore will bring another ₹258 crore into the state and generate further employment.
The approved proposals cover sectors including aerospace and defence, food processing, renewable energy, IT services, electronics, textiles, sugar, machine tools, general engineering and industrial manufacturing.
One of the largest proposals comes from JASWIN Ventures Private Limited, which plans to develop an integrated industrial park and mixed use township in Doddaballapura taluk of Bengaluru Rural district. The ₹475 crore project is expected to create about 12,000 jobs.
Jampana Construction Private Limited has received approval for a ₹465 crore integrated industrial park in Doddaballapura. The development will include warehousing, logistics, residential and commercial facilities and is expected to provide around 2,500 jobs.
In Vijayapura district, Shrishail Mallikarjun Distillery Private Limited will establish a sugar and ethanol production facility in Devarahipparagi taluk. The project involves an investment of ₹453.10 crore and is expected to create approximately 350 jobs, along with a power generation component.
At Devanahalli in Bengaluru Rural district, Axiscades Aerospace Infrastructure Private Limited will invest ₹426 crore in an aerospace and defence maintenance, repair and overhaul facility and manufacturing cluster. The project is expected to create around 2,500 jobs.
EID Parry India Limited has also received approval for a ₹397.43 crore jaggery manufacturing facility in Bagalkote taluk.
The latest approvals also include a bioenergy project by Leafiniti BioEnergy. The company plans to invest ₹310 crore in four compressed biogas plants located across Chikkodi, Nippani and Pandavapura in Belagavi and Mandya districts.
Other companies receiving approval include Blueline Foods India, Sonder Projects and Lands, Arete 22 Limited, Sunstar Precision Forge, Sonder Infra, Blueline Infratech, Elmeasure India, ONDOT Corporate, GRB Dairy Foods and Pathikonda Balasubbasetty and Son.
With investments spread across several districts and industries, the latest approvals are expected to expand Karnataka’s industrial base and create more employment opportunities outside Bengaluru.
The large number of projects planned beyond the Bengaluru region is particularly important for the state’s efforts to distribute economic activity more widely.
The latest clearances therefore represent another major investment push for Karnataka, with ₹6,252.86 crore in proposed investments and more than 30,054 potential jobs across the state.
