Karnataka 2nd PUC Results Postponed, New Date Yet to Be Announced
Lakhs of students will have to wait longer as the Karnataka board delays the Class 12 result due to election restrictions.

Bengaluru: Students across Karnataka who were anxiously waiting for their 2nd PUC results have been left disappointed after the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) announced a last minute postponement.
The results, which were widely expected to be declared on April 7, 2026, will now not be released as planned. KSEAB Chairman Prakash Nittali confirmed the decision on Monday, citing the ongoing election code of conduct and administrative reasons as the primary factors behind the delay.
The announcement came as a shock to lakhs of students who had been eagerly preparing to check their scores. Many had already gathered their login credentials in anticipation of the results going live on the official portals.
The board has not yet revealed a new date for the result declaration. However, officials stated that an updated announcement will be made shortly on the board’s official websites at kseab.karnataka.gov.in and karresults.nic.in.
Students are advised to keep their hall tickets and registration details ready so they can access their marksheets as soon as the results are officially published.
