The programme began with the recitation of the Quran by Maulvi Syed Ismail Burmawar, followed by a naat recited by Qari Ahmed Ruknuddin Nadwi. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Abdul Hafeez Khan Nadwi highlighted the purpose behind establishing the maktab. He noted that the area, once largely undeveloped, has gradually grown into a populated locality with a mosque and a functioning religious system, making the launch of this new branch a significant milestone.

Maulana Ansar Nadwi Madani, a teacher at the institution and president of the mosque committee, emphasised the importance of nurturing the younger generation with proper religious and moral guidance. He assured continued support to strengthen the maktab’s activities.

Expressing happiness over the initiative, the rector of the institution, Maulana Maqbool Ahmed Kobatte Nadwi, said that guiding the younger generation has always been a central goal of the organisation. He prayed for the success and growth of the new branch.

Nazim of the institution, Maulana Mohammed Talha Ruknuddin Nadwi, also stressed that building strong moral values and correct understanding of faith among children is a shared responsibility. He added that the number of students in maktabs has been steadily increasing, leading to the establishment of more such centres.

The maktab has started with 12 students. On the occasion, they were provided with textbooks along with school bags, lunch boxes, and water bottles. The ceremonial “Bismillah” for the students was conducted by the president of the institution, Maulana Abdul Aleem Qasmi, who expressed satisfaction over the expanding reach of the organisation’s educational efforts. He also reminded attendees of the importance of contributing to such initiatives with a sense of responsibility and purpose.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Maulvi Salman Kola Nadwi, while the closing prayer was led by Maulana Afzal Shah Bandari Nadwi.
