J. Mahesh Appointed as Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner, Officially Assumes Charge
After remaining vacant for nearly a year, the post of Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner has finally been filled
Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News) The long vacant post of Bhatkal Sub Divisional Officer, also known as Assistant Commissioner, has finally been filled with the appointment of J. Mahesh, a KAS Junior Scale officer. He officially assumed charge on Tuesday.The position had remained vacant since the transfer of former Assistant Commissioner Dr. Nayan N last year. Following his transfer, Sirsi Assistant Commissioner Kumari Kavyarani was given additional responsibility for Bhatkal. However, after her recent transfer, the post once again became vacant.During this period, Honnavar Tahsildar Praveen Karande was handling the temporary charge of the office.
As per the state government’s transfer order, J. Mahesh arrived in Bhatkal and formally took charge by signing official documents at the office. He previously served as the Commissioner of the Udupi City Development Authority and is known to have considerable administrative experience.With the appointment of a full time officer to this important post, people are hopeful that administrative work and public services in the region will move forward more efficiently.
