Qatar leaders congratulate India on Independence Day

Doha, August 15 — Qatar’s top leadership sent messages of congratulations to India’s leaders on the occasion of India’s Independence Day. HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani conveyed his greetings to HE President Droupadi Murmu, expressing warm wishes on the national occasion. HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani also sent a congratulatory cable to President Murmu marking the anniversary of India’s Independence Day. In a separate message, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al‑Thani congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion.
