The Agency for Imams and Muezzins Affairs has released the weekly roster of imams leading the five daily prayers at the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) in Makkah, covering the period from 12 to 18 Safar 1448 AH.

According to the schedule, Sheikh Dr. Al-Waleed bin Khalid Al-Shamsan will lead the Fajr (dawn) and Dhuhr (noon) prayers throughout the week, with Sheikh Dr. Badr bin Muhammad Al-Turki serving as his reserve imam for both prayers.

For Asr (afternoon) prayers, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid will take the lead, with Sheikh Dr. Al-Waleed bin Khalid Al-Shamsan on standby as reserve.

Sheikh Badr bin Muhammad Al-Turki will lead both the Maghrib (sunset) and Isha (night) prayers for the week, with Sheikh Dr. Al-Waleed bin Khalid Al-Shamsan again named as the backup imam for both.

The rotation ensures continuity in prayer leadership at the Grand Mosque, one of Islam’s holiest sites, which hosts hundreds of thousands of worshippers daily from around the world.
