Grand Mosque Announces Weekly Imam Schedule for 9 – 15 Dhul Qa’dah 1447 AH
Masjid al-Haram in Makkah releases its full five-daily-prayer Imam lineup for the coming week, with reserve Imams also named.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has published the official weekly prayer schedule for the Imams of Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, covering the period from Sunday, 9 Dhul Qa’dah to Saturday, 15 Dhul Qa’dah 1447 AH.
Here is the complete schedule for the week:
Fajr (Dawn Prayer) Led by Sheikh Dr. Al-Waleed bin Khaled Al-Shamsan, with Sheikh Badr bin Muhammad Al-Turki serving as the backup Imam.
Dhuhr (Midday Prayer) Led by Sheikh Badr bin Muhammad Al-Turki, with Sheikh Dr. Al-Waleed bin Khaled Al-Shamsan as the reserve Imam.
Asr (Afternoon Prayer) Led by Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser bin Rashid Al-Dossari, with Sheikh Dr. Al-Waleed bin Khaled Al-Shamsan standing by as backup.
Maghrib (Sunset Prayer) Led by Sheikh Prof. Dr. Faisal bin Jameel Al-Ghazawi, with Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser bin Rashid Al-Dossari as the reserve Imam.
Isha (Night Prayer) Led by Sheikh Badr bin Muhammad Al-Turki, with Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser bin Rashid Al-Dossari serving as the backup Imam.
All designated Imams are qualified and experienced scholars serving at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. Their daily prayers are broadcast live and followed by millions of Muslims around the world. The General Presidency releases this schedule every week to keep worshippers, pilgrims, and visitors well informed ahead of time.
This week’s schedule falls within Dhul Qa’dah, one of the four sacred months in Islam, as Hajj season preparations continue to intensify across the Kingdom with pilgrims beginning to arrive from all corners of the globe.
