Ismail Gassan Chamundi Appointed New Principal of Anjuman Pre University College Bhatkal
From former student to mathematics lecturer, Gassan Chamundi takes charge of the institution where his academic journey began
Bhatkal: Mr. Ismail Gassan Chamundi Son of Mohammed Gouse Chamundi has been appointed as the new Principal of Anjuman Pre University College in Bhatkal, marking an important new chapter in his long association with the institution.
Born on 15 March 1991, Gassan began his schooling at Shams School, where he studied until the fourth standard. He later continued his education from the fifth to tenth standard at Islamia Anglo High School in Nawayat Colony, Bhatkal.
He completed his Pre University education at Anjuman Pre University College. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Anjuman before completing his Master of Science in Mathematics from KSOU Mysore.
Mr. Gassan started his teaching career in 2012 at New Shams School, where he worked for two years. He then joined Mohtesham Academy and continued his teaching career there for another two years.
In 2016, he returned to Anjuman Pre University College as a Mathematics lecturer. Since then, he has played an active role in the institution and contributed to the academic development of its students.
His appointment as Principal is particularly significant as he now takes charge of the same institution where he once studied. His journey from student to lecturer and now Principal reflects his long standing connection with Anjuman and his commitment to education.
Alongside his academic work, Gassan is an Executive Member of ANFA and serves on its Education Committee, where he contributes to various educational initiatives and activities.
