Sheikh Dr. Salah Al-Budair will deliver the Friday sermon and lead Jumu’ah prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has announced that Sheikh Dr. Salah Al-Budair, one of the senior Imams of Masjid an-Nabawi, will deliver the Friday sermon (Khutbah) and lead the Jumu’ah prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah on Friday, January 2, 2026, corresponding to 13 Rajab 1447 AH.
Sheikh Dr. Salah Al-Budair is widely respected for his eloquent sermons and deeply moving Qur’anic recitation, which draw large congregations at the Prophet’s Mosque. Thousands of worshippers are expected to attend the Friday prayer in person, while millions around the world will follow the sermon and prayer through official Masjid an-Nabawi and Haramain live broadcasts.
