Flipkart Delivery Executive Arrested for Allegedly Entering Woman’s Bengaluru Flat and Harassing Her
Police took action after the woman shared her experience and a video of the incident on social media.

A Flipkart delivery executive has been arrested after he was accused of entering a woman’s apartment in Bengaluru without permission and allegedly sexually harassing her.
The accused, identified as Vijay Mallikarjun Kamath, was arrested on Sunday after the woman filed a complaint at the Marathahalli Police Station. Police have registered a case under Sections 75, 79, and 329(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which relate to sexual harassment, insulting the modesty of a woman, and house trespass.
The incident came to light after the woman shared her account on social media along with a video she recorded during the encounter.
According to her complaint, the delivery executive arrived at her apartment to deliver a parcel and then requested permission to use her washroom. She said she repeatedly refused, explaining that she did not allow strangers into her home and suggested that he seek help from neighbouring flats if it was an emergency.
Despite her refusal, the woman alleged that the delivery executive entered her apartment without her consent. She further claimed that after using the washroom, he exposed himself to her, leaving her shocked and frightened.
The woman said she feared for her safety throughout the incident. She kept her phone camera recording, left the main door open, and stayed near the entrance so that she could run outside if necessary. She later said the incident left her traumatised and feeling unsafe in her own home.
After her post gained widespread attention online, Bengaluru police contacted the woman, verified the complaint, and registered an FIR. The accused was subsequently arrested, and further investigation is underway.
Responding to the incident, Flipkart said it was deeply disturbed by the allegations and was extending full support to the customer. The company said customer safety is a top priority and confirmed that it had immediately terminated its association with the delivery partner. Flipkart also stated that it is fully cooperating with the police investigation.
