🇦🇪 What About the UAE?

In the UAE, residents are also expected to receive a one-day public holiday for Mawlid Al-Nabi. As per a 2025 Cabinet resolution, non-Eid holidays may be shifted to the start or end of the week if they fall on a weekend. Final confirmation will come through an official Cabinet decision. Additionally, local governments in each Emirate may announce extra days off if needed.

Other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries have yet to confirm their holiday dates for this occasion.
