D.K. Shivakumar Cabinet Announced, U.T. Khader Among New Ministers
The new Karnataka cabinet includes senior leaders, young faces and representatives from different regions and communities.

Bengaluru: The list of ministers in the new cabinet led by Chief Minister designate D.K. Shivakumar has been announced.
The cabinet formation comes after several days of political discussions, speculation and lobbying within the party over ministerial positions.
According to reports, the selection has been made by considering regional balance, caste and community representation, experience and space for younger leaders.
Dr. G. Parameshwar has been named Deputy Chief Minister in the new cabinet.
The ministers announced include K.H. Muniyappa, K.J. George, M.B. Patil, Ramalinga Reddy, Satish Jarkiholi, Krishna Byre Gowda, Priyank Kharge, U.T. Khader, Ishwar Khandre, Yathindra Siddaramaiah, Bhairati Suresh and Sharan Prakash Patil.
The cabinet list is expected to shape the political direction of the new government as Shivakumar prepares to take charge as Chief Minister.
