Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke has warned that his protest campaign over alleged irregularities in examinations and recruitment processes will continue until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns.

Speaking to reporters after returning to Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, Dipke said the demonstration held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on June 6 was a major success. He claimed that around 6,000 to 7,000 people took part in the rally, which he described as a turning point for the movement.

He said the protest was only the beginning of a larger nationwide agitation and added that a broader action plan would soon be announced. According to him, the movement will expand across the country in the coming days.

In a post on social media platform X, Dipke called the demonstration a historic moment and said it reflected growing frustration among students and young people over issues in the education system. He also claimed that many participants were first time protesters who joined due to rising concerns.

During the rally, protesters gathered under the banner of the Cockroach Janta Party, demanding the resignation of the Education Minister over alleged recruitment and examination irregularities. Some participants were seen wearing masks and carrying posters as they raised slogans and expressed their grievances.

Following the protest, party representatives announced that they would wait for one week for the government’s response. They said if the demands are not met within that period, the agitation would be intensified nationwide.

Dipke also reiterated that the movement would not stop until the Education Minister steps down. He said the protest demonstrated the collective strength of those involved and encouraged supporters not to back down.

Earlier, he arrived in Delhi from the United States before joining the demonstration at Jantar Mantar after receiving permission from police authorities.
