Bhatkal Organisations Meet Newly Appointed ASP Ranu Gupta
The delegation introduced the town’s key institutions and urged the new police officer to work closely with the local community.
Bhatkal: A joint delegation from Majlis Islah wa Tanzeem Bhatkal and Rabita Society Bhatkal met the newly appointed Assistant Superintendent of Police, Ranu Gupta, at the police station on Sunday.
The meeting was held as a courtesy visit to welcome the new ASP and establish a positive relationship with the local police administration.
During the meeting, the delegation introduced the ASP to the town’s five major institutions as well as several other organisations involved in various fields of community service.
The representatives urged the ASP to take the local community into confidence while carrying out her responsibilities and addressing issues concerning the people of Bhatkal.
ASP Ranu Gupta welcomed the delegation and expressed her appreciation for the meeting. She also showed interest in visiting the town’s institutions and meeting their representatives in the coming days.
The delegation included Majlis Islah wa Tanzeem Bhatkal President Inayatullah Shahbandri, General Secretary Maulana Azizur Rahman Nadwi, Rabita Society President Farooq Misbah, Yasir and other office bearers.
