Bhatkal Majlis Islah Wa Tanzeem Issues Friday Prayer Advisory Amid Planned BJP Protest
The Tanzeem urges residents to offer Friday prayers at nearby mosques and avoid unnecessary movement near the protest route.

Bhatkal Majlis Islah Wa Tanzeem has issued an important advisory for Friday prayers in view of a planned BJP protest in Bhatkal.
The Tanzeem said the protest is expected to take place on Friday during Jumu’ah prayers, from the public chabutra towards Mini Vidhana Soudha. Permission for the protest has already been granted by the authorities.
In the interest of peace and public safety, Tanzeem has appealed to the Muslim community to remain calm, cautious, and cooperative.
Residents living in the upper part of Bhatkal have been advised to offer Friday prayers at mosques in their own area. Similarly, those in the lower part of the town should attend nearby mosques in the lower area.
The advisory cautioned against unnecessary movement through the protest route during prayer time, as it could create tension in the current situation.
Worshippers at Noor Mosque have been informed that Friday prayers will be held at 12:50 PM due to the circumstances, and are requested to arrive accordingly.
Tanzeem also urged people to return home promptly after prayers and avoid lingering on roads or public areas. This precaution is intended to prevent any disturbances and deny miscreants an opportunity to cause trouble.
The advisory concluded with a prayer for peace, safety, and harmony in Bhatkal, and a call for everyone to follow these instructions to maintain calm.
Security preparations in Bhatkal are being stepped up ahead of a planned protest, with over 1,000+ police personnel expected to be deployed across the town. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation to ensure public safety, although the exact number of officers and detailed arrangements have not been officially confirmed.
