Bhatkal: Several Hindu organisations have announced a voluntary bandh in Bhatkal on Friday, June 5, 2026, in connection with the disputed site issue.
According to information received through a press release, the bandh will be observed from 1 pm to 8 pm.
A protest march is also scheduled to begin at 3 pm from the Flower Market area. The march will pass through Flower Market, Marikatta and the old bus stand before reaching Mini Vidhana Soudha.
At Mini Vidhana Soudha, the protesters are expected to submit a memorandum to the Assistant Commissioner.
The memorandum will demand the reconstruction of the disputed structure and legal action against those involved in the demolition that took place recently.
