Bengaluru Triple Murder: Woman Suspected of Killing Parents and Sister Over Mounting Debt
Police launch manhunt for 24 year old woman and her alleged accomplice after three family members are found murdered in KR Puram.

Bengaluru: A shocking triple murder case has emerged from Bengaluru’s Seegehalli area, where a 24 year old woman is suspected of killing her parents and younger sister following a dispute reportedly linked to heavy debt.
The incident came to light on Monday when three members of a family were found dead inside their apartment under the jurisdiction of the KR Puram Police Station. Authorities have launched an extensive search for the family’s elder daughter, Shwetha, and a man identified as Kenneth, who are believed to be connected to the crime.
The victims have been identified as Somasundar, 52, his wife Muthulakshmi, 48, and their younger daughter Supriya, 19.
According to preliminary police investigations, Shwetha had allegedly accumulated debts amounting to nearly Rs 30 lakh. Investigators believe ongoing disagreements within the family regarding the debt may have contributed to rising tensions at home.
Police suspect that Shwetha and Kenneth visited the apartment when Muthulakshmi was alone. An argument is believed to have broken out during the visit, after which Muthulakshmi was allegedly attacked with a sharp edged weapon and killed.
Investigators further suspect that Supriya was attacked after returning home later. Police believe Shwetha may have restrained her younger sister while Kenneth carried out the assault.
Somasundar is also believed to have been attacked and killed when he returned to the apartment. According to police, all three victims suffered multiple injuries caused by a sharp weapon.
The bodies were discovered inside the residence, prompting an immediate police response. Senior officers visited the scene, while forensic experts collected evidence to aid the investigation.
Police have initiated a manhunt to trace the whereabouts of Shwetha and Kenneth. Officials stated that the motive and exact sequence of events are still under investigation and will become clearer once the suspects are located and questioned.
A case has been registered at KR Puram Police Station, and further investigation is ongoing.
