Attack on Kuwait International Airport Injures Several, Flights Suspended

Kuwait International Airport faced a serious security incident on Wednesday when Terminal 1 was struck by drones and missiles reportedly launched from Iran. The assault caused significant damage to the passenger terminal and left multiple people injured.
The General Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that the airport’s emergency response plan was immediately activated. As a precaution, flights have been suspended or diverted to alternative airports until authorities can ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
Colonel Staff Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan, spokesperson for Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence, described the attack as a “criminal Iranian aggression.” He confirmed that the injured received prompt medical care and emphasized that the Armed Forces are monitoring the situation closely.
Authorities stated that all necessary security measures are in place to protect Kuwait’s stability, and they remain prepared to respond to any further developments.
