At 24, Bengaluru Startup Founder Builds ₹13 Crore Company and Buys ₹1.8 Crore Dream Home
Legalit founder Akash Narayan credits his family, mentors, colleagues and friends for supporting his journey
Bengaluru, September 26: At just 24, Bengaluru based entrepreneur Akash Narayan has marked a major milestone in his startup journey by purchasing an apartment worth ₹1.8 crore from his earnings.
Narayan is the founder of Legalit, a legal technology startup that reportedly has an annual turnover of around ₹13 crore. He recently shared the news of his new home on Instagram, describing it as the fulfilment of a long cherished dream.
However, Narayan used the occasion not only to celebrate his personal achievement but also to acknowledge the people who supported him throughout his journey.
In an emotional video shared on Instagram, he expressed gratitude to his mother for standing by his career choices even when they appeared uncertain, and thanked his father for the life lessons he had taught him. He also remembered his late grandfather and grandmother for teaching him the value of kindness and credited his sister with teaching him humility.
Narayan said the achievement was not his alone and belonged equally to his family, colleagues, friends and mentors who supported him during difficult periods and encouraged him after setbacks.
“₹13 crore startup, a ₹1.8 crore apartment in Bengaluru. My achievements do not end here. I have already set new goals and am preparing for the next phase,” Narayan said.
Started Building Apps as a Student
Narayan’s interest in technology began during his school years, when he developed Android applications including WebRouse and HowToTech to help senior citizens understand modern technology. His work was reportedly recognised by Infosys.
He later gained experience across technology, business development and political consultancy. His professional background includes an internship with Nokia, consulting work with Sphinx Tech, full stack development, and serving as Head of Growth at NK Law Associates.
He also worked as Chief Technology Officer at Report Cyber Crimes and was associated with I PAC. His experience additionally includes political campaign strategy work with the DMK and later working as an independent political consultant.
Narayan holds a law degree from St Joseph’s College and is currently pursuing Data Science at Manipal University.
Founded Legal Tech Startup in 2023
In December 2023, Narayan founded Legalit, a legal technology company focused on developing technology solutions for lawyers and law firms. He is also a seed investor in startup Ayan.
His recent Instagram post received congratulatory messages from entrepreneurs, professionals and young aspirants. Many appreciated his decision to recognise the contribution of his family, mentors and colleagues while celebrating the purchase of his first home.
For Narayan, the ₹1.8 crore apartment represents not only a financial milestone but also another step in a journey that he says is far from over.
