Anjuman Multipurpose Sports Arena Inaugurated at Degree College Campus
The new sports facility was inaugurated on December 13 as part of the Anjuman Days celebrations, strengthening sports infrastructure for students and the community.

Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News): The Anjuman Multipurpose Sports Arena at Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce College, Bhatkal, was formally inaugurated on December 13 on the eve of the Anjuman Days celebrations. The newly developed, state-of-the-art sports facility features a well-laid grass ground and modern amenities designed to support a wide range of sporting activities.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of several distinguished guests, including Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. U.T. Khader Fareed, Minister for Fisheries, Ports and Inland Water Transport and Uttara Kannada District In-Charge Minister Shri Mankala S. Vaidya, and Vice-Chancellor of Karnatak University, Dharwad, Dr. A. M. Khan.
Also present on the occasion were Mr. Yunus Kazia, President of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Bhatkal; Mr. Mohammed Ishaque Shabandri, General Secretary of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen; and Mr. Mohammed Yusuf Kola, Principal of Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce College, along with other office-bearers and dignitaries of the Anjuman.
Speakers highlighted Anjuman’s long-standing commitment to education, overall student development, and community welfare. They noted that the new sports arena marks an important step in promoting physical education alongside academic excellence and will provide students and the local community with quality sports facilities.
The event also acknowledged the generous contribution of Mr. Ibrahim Kazia, who dedicated the Anjuman Sports Arena for the benefit of students and staff of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Bhatkal. The management expressed heartfelt gratitude for his support and prayed for his good health, prosperity, and continued success.
The inauguration of the sports arena stands as another milestone in Anjuman’s efforts to support holistic development and contribute to the region’s progress.
