All-Karnataka Naath Competition: Bhatkal’s Abdul Hadi Takes First Place, Aarib Hassan Secures Third; Second Place Goes to Bilal Ahmed of Basavakalyan
Event held at Bengaluru Town Hall featuring Naath recitation, Qur’an recitation, poetry, and skits.

Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News): In the All-Karnataka Naath Competition organized by the Solidarity Youth Movement, Bengaluru City, two participants from Bhatkal earned top honors, securing the first and third positions. The second prize was won by Bilal Ahmed from Basavakalyan.
The event took place yesterday 15 November 2025 evening at the Bengaluru Town Hall, where competitions in Naat recitation, Qur’an recitation, poetry, and skits were also presented.
According to the organizers, the purpose of the program was to guide youth away from harmful activities and inspire them with a spirit of faith and positivity. Participants from across Karnataka took part in various categories.
The organizers stated that 150 candidates from across the state registered online for the Naath competition. From these, 15 participants were shortlisted, followed by a qualifying round that narrowed the list down to five finalists who competed on stage today.
Results
- First Prize: Abdul Hadi, Bhatkal – ₹25,000
- Second Prize: Bilal Ahmed, Basavakalyan – ₹15,000
- Third Prize: Aarib Hassan, Murdeshwar (Bhatkal) – ₹10,000
In addition, Iftikhar Sheikh (Hubballi) and Tabrez Pasha Umri received special awards of ₹5,000 each.
