AITM Bhatkal Student Mohammed Amaan Kola Selected for VTU Football Team
First-year CSE (AI & ML) student earns a place in the VTU University team for the All India South Zone Inter-University Tournament 2026–27.
Bhatkal: A proud moment has been recorded at Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Bhatkal, as student Mohammed Amaan Kola from the first year CSE (AI & ML) department has been selected to represent the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) football team.
He will now take part in the All India South Zone Inter-University Football Tournament for the 2026–27 season, marking a significant achievement in his sporting journey.
His selection has been credited to his consistent dedication, discipline, and passion for football, which have helped him stand out at the university level. The achievement has brought pride to the entire AITM campus community.
The college management, principal Dr K. Fazlur Rahman, registrar Professor Zahid Kharuri, first year department head Dr Waseem Ahmed Halvegar, and physical director Mr Bhaskar Belegadde, along with faculty and students, congratulated him and extended their best wishes for the upcoming tournament.
