“Zikr-e-Mubarak ﷺ” — A Fragrant Tribute to the Seerah Released at Nadwatul Ulama

Lucknow (Fikrokhabar News): A special ceremony was held at Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama to launch the book “Zikr-e-Mubarak ﷺ”, a collection of writings on the life and character of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The book is based on the works of the late Maulana Abdul Rahman Nagrami Nadvi and has been compiled and published by his son, Maulana Muhammad Faizan Nagrami Nadvi.
Speaking at the event, the Rector of Nadwatul Ulama, Hazrat Maulana Syed Bilal Abdul Hai Hasani Nadvi, described the book as an attempt to distill the fragrance of the Prophet’s ﷺ biography into a concise and impactful form. “Summarizing the vast and profound life of the Prophet ﷺ into a few pages is no easy task,” he said. “Particularly, the explanation of the name Muhammad ﷺ in this book stands out as a unique contribution.”
Maulana Bilal also paid tribute to Maulana Abdul Rahman Nagrami, noting that while many promising scholars have emerged from Nadwatul Ulama, some, like Maulana Abdul Rahman, left the world at a young age—he was only 27. “Despite his short life, he achieved what even seasoned scholars struggle to accomplish,” he added.
The event was attended by several senior scholars and teachers of Nadwatul Ulama, including Maulana Muhammad Mustaqeem Nadvi, Maulana Muhammad Wasiq Nadvi, Maulana Muhammad Farman Nadvi, Maulana Khalid Bandwi Nadvi, Maulana Muhammad Kalamuddin Nadvi, and the compiler himself, Maulana Muhammad Faizan Nagrami Nadvi, among other distinguished guests.
Following the launch, Maulana Bilal continued to share reflections on the contributions of scholars from Nagram, especially highlighting their scholarly legacy and deep commitment to Islamic knowledge.
