Young Cricketer Juman Jushiddi Makes Strides Under Expert Coaching at Bhatkal Sports Academy
Rising talent from Lion Sports Centre continues development journey with guidance from experienced coaches Anas Mulla and Yasir Nihal
Bhatkal, Juman, son of Jameel Jushiddi, is emerging as a promising cricket talent through his association with Lion Sports Centre and dedicated training at Bhatkal Sports Academy. In a historic achievement, he became a university blue player, becoming the first ever cricketer from Lion Sports Centre to achieve this feat.
The young cricketer’s journey in competitive cricket began under the mentorship of Anas Mulla, who served as the head coach of Bhatkal Sports Academy during Juman’s early development phase. Under Mulla’s guidance, Juman got his first taste of serious cricket when he represented Bhatkal Sports Academy in the U-19 KSCA (Karnataka State Cricket Association) league in May 2023. Even after stepping down as head coach, Mulla continues to provide valuable guidance to the young player.
Currently, Juman trains under Yasir Nihal, who has taken over as the head coach of Bhatkal Sports Academy. Nihal has played a key role in shaping Juman’s cricket skills professionally and preparing him for higher-level competitions, including university-level tournaments and division matches. The coach’s dedicated efforts have been instrumental in taking Juman’s game to the next level.
In addition to his training at Bhatkal Sports Academy, Juman also represents Lion Sports Centre in various competitions. He is currently pursuing his education at Anjuman (AIMCA), balancing his academic responsibilities with his passion for cricket.
With strong coaching support and his own commitment to the sport, Juman is steadily working his way up through the ranks of competitive cricket in the region.
