Yati Narsinghanand Calls for Military Attack on Al-Falah University, AMU, JMI, and Darul Uloom
Dasna Temple priest makes inflammatory remarks, calling Muslim institutions “terrorist dens”

Yati Narsinghanand Giri, the head priest of the Dasna Devi Temple in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, has once again sparked outrage with his hate speech targeting Muslim educational institutions. In a recent video, he called for military action against Al-Falah University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Aligarh Muslim University, and Darul Uloom Deoband.
In his statement, Narsinghanand described these universities as “terrorist dens” and said they should be “blown up with cannons” by the army. His remarks came soon after the detention of three doctors associated with Al-Falah University, who were being questioned by authorities in connection with an alleged terror case, including a recent blast incident in Delhi.
He accused Al-Falah University of sympathizing with those involved in terror activities, claiming that the institution had held prayers for people suspected in the blast case. Using this as justification, he urged Hindus to “wake up” and pressure political leaders to destroy such places.
“This is the final phase of my life,” he said in the video. “If you want your children to live and your community to survive, stand with those who fight for you.”
The video has surfaced at a time when hateful and Islamophobic comments are increasingly being shared on social media, not just by anonymous users but also by known public figures and some Hindutva activists.
Such remarks have drawn criticism from rights groups and individuals who say they contribute to spreading communal hatred and encourage violence against minorities.
