Uttara Kannada Police Conducts Night Safety Checks Across District
SP Deepan M.N. leads district-wide operation to bolster security, with checks at transport hubs, financial centers, and major roads.
KARWAR – In a significant move to reinforce public safety, the Uttara Kannada district police conducted an extensive night-checking operation across the region on Wednesday.
The drive was initiated and supervised by Superintendent of Police (SP) Deepan M.N. Police teams from various local stations were deployed to key locations, including bus stands, banks, ATMs, major roads, highways, and other public spaces.
The operation focused on inspecting individuals and vehicles moving during late hours to deter criminal activity. The initiative aimed to strengthen night patrolling, particularly in sensitive zones, and prevent potential offenses.
Police officials confirmed that such proactive security measures will be conducted regularly to ensure sustained peace and law and order for the residents of Uttara Kannada district.
