Two-Day District-Level Tablighi Ijtema to Begins at Anjuman Abad Ground, Bhatkal
Thousands gather in Bhatkal as the Uttara Kannada Tablighi Jamaat convention focuses on faith, self-improvement, and community service.
Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News): Bhatkal witnessed the beginning of the two-day Uttara Kannada district-level Tablighi Jamaat Ijtema to begin tomorrow on Wednesday morning, December 24. The religious convention started after the Fajr prayer at Anjuman Abad, Anjuman Ground and will conclude after the Maghrib prayer on Thursday, December 25.
The annual Ijtema aims to strengthen spiritual awareness and moral values among members of the Muslim community, including both youth and elders. Religious scholars are expected to address gatherings on topics such as self-reform, following the teachings of Islam, and ethical development.
Extensive arrangements have been made at Anjuman Ground to ensure the comfort of participants arriving from across the district and nearby areas. Facilities include designated prayer spaces, dining arrangements, rest areas, parking facilities, and temporary tents. Organisers have also arranged additional water supply, electricity, ablution areas, temporary toilets, and bathing facilities.
More than thousands people are expected to attend the gathering. One of the notable features of the Ijtema is the strong spirit of voluntary service, with both young and elderly volunteers actively participating in managing the event.
The convention will conclude with a special collective Dua, marking the end of the annual district-level religious gathering.
