Trump Warns Iran Against Retaliating ‘Very Hard Today’
US President says unprecedented force will be used if Tehran escalates further.
US President Donald Trump has warned Iran against launching a major retaliatory strike, saying the United States would respond with overwhelming force.
In a statement posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump wrote: “Iran just stated that they are going to hit very hard today, harder than they have ever been hit before.”
“They better not do that, however, because if they do, we will hit them with a force that has never been seen before!” he added.
The warning comes amid escalating tensions in the region following reported military exchanges involving the US, Israel and Iran. There was no immediate response from Iranian officials to Trump’s latest remarks.
