True Connection with the Qur’an Is the Key to Success, Say Scholars at Quran Completion Ceremony
Sunshine Sports Centre organised the programme to felicitate Molvi Hafiz Ahmed Siddiq Nadvi and Sulaim Ruknuddin on completing Qur’an memorisation.

Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News): Scholars highlighted that memorising the Holy Qur’an and shaping one’s life according to its teachings is the true path to success, during a special Takmeel-e-Hifz-e-Qur’an (Qur’an memorisation completion) ceremony held at the historic Qaziya Mosque on Monday night.
The programme was organised by Sunshine Sports Centre to felicitate Molvi Hafiz Ahmed Siddiq Nadvi and Sulaim ibn Hasan Shaheer Ruknuddin on the completion of their Qur’an memorisation. Hafiz Ahmed Siddiq Nadvi completed his memorisation under Hafiz Abu Saleh Alji at the Hifz Department of Jamia Islamia Bhatkal after finishing his Aalimiyat course, while Saleem ibn Hasan is a student of Ali Public PU College. Both students recited portions of the Qur’an during the ceremony.
Addressing the gathering, Maulana Abdul Aleem Nadvi, Imam and Khateeb of Jamia Masjid Bhatkal and Nayyeb Mohtamim of Jamia Islamia Bhatkal, said that although material wealth is often considered the ultimate success in today’s world, the wealth of the Qur’an and religious knowledge surpasses everything else. He noted that the declining status of Muslims globally is largely due to distancing themselves from religion and Shariah, and emphasised that maintaining a strong bond with the Qur’an is the greatest form of success.
Earlier, Molvi Syed Ahmed Salik Barmawar Nadvi, teacher at Jamia Islamia Bhatkal and Assistant Secretary of Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen Bhatkal, spoke about the high status and honour of a Hafiz-e-Qur’an. He said it is a great blessing that Allah chooses the hearts of Hafiz-e-Qur’an to preserve His divine words. Referring to narrations about the honour given to the parents of a Hafiz on the Day of Judgment, he said one can only imagine the exalted rank of the Hafiz himself. He further added that individuals, communities, institutions, and movements that attach themselves to the Qur’an always reach heights of progress.
Both speakers congratulated the newly qualified Huffaz, their parents, teachers, and all those associated with their journey, and stressed the need to spread the message of the Qur’an across the world.
The programme concluded with a supplication led by Maulana Abdul Aleem Nadvi. The event was conducted by Syed Azhar Barmawar Nadvi, Educational Secretary of Sunshine Sports Centre. The gathering began with Qur’anic recitation by Hafiz Ali Shareef and was held after the Isha prayer. A large number of office bearers, members of Sunshine Sports Centre, and local residents attended the programme.
