TLMA Educational Exhibition 2026 Held at Government Model Urdu Higher Primary School, Bhatkal
Exhibition highlights students’ creativity and promotes practical learning in classrooms.

Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News): The Government Model Urdu Higher Primary School, located in Nawayat Colony, Bhatkal, organised the TLMA Educational Exhibition 2026 on Tuesday. The exhibition aimed to showcase students’ academic and creative skills while encouraging practical, activity-based learning.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms Afsha Qazi, President of Jali Patan Panchayat. Mr Venkatesh Naik, Treasurer of the Karnataka State Government Employees Association, Bhatkal, and Head Teacher of Gandhi Nagar, attended the event as the chief guest.
Several educationists and community representatives were present on the occasion, including Mr Rafiq from the Primary School Teachers Association, Ms Muneera Khanam (CRP, Navayat Colony Cluster), Ms Nazia Banu (CRP, National Colony, Murdeshwar), Mr Ayub Khan (Head Teacher, Government Urdu High School, Navayat Colony), Mr Ghalib Otti (Head Teacher, Madina Colony), Ms Syeda Fatima (Headmistress, Government Higher Primary School, Makdoom Colony), Mr Ayub Khan (SDMC Member), and Ms Sabiha Banu, Headmistress of the host school.
Speaking at the programme, the guests praised the students for their innovative projects and presentations. They said such educational exhibitions play a vital role in developing curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning among children. The speakers noted that students who actively participate in such platforms during their school years often go on to make meaningful contributions to society and the nation.
The speakers congratulated the students and teachers for their efforts and described the school as a model institution for the entire taluk. They encouraged students from other schools to use similar opportunities to showcase their talents.
Special appreciation was expressed for Headmistress Ms Sabiha Banu, with speakers highlighting that the school, established in 1959, has served thousands of students over the decades, many of whom now hold responsible positions. They commended her continuous efforts toward the school’s development.
The programme was anchored by Mr Dinesh Venkataraman Hegde, Kannada teacher at the school, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms Malini Ramayya Naik.
