Ticket Denied, RJD Aspirant Creates Scene Outside Lalu’s Residence
Madan Sah, runner-up in 2020, alleges he paid crores for a party ticket and now feels betrayed.

Patna (Fikrokhabar News): Chaos broke out outside Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav’s residence on Sunday when a ticket aspirant, Madan Sah, broke down in tears after being denied a party ticket for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections.
In a dramatic turn of events, Sah, who had contested from the Madhuban constituency in 2020 and lost narrowly to the BJP, tore off his clothes and rolled on the road in protest. The video of the incident quickly went viral on social media, sparking conversations about internal party practices and transparency.
“I was asked to arrange ₹2.70 crore in exchange for a ticket. I managed the amount by postponing my children’s weddings. Now I’m left with nothing,” Sah claimed, emotionally demanding the return of his money.
While the RJD leadership has so far remained silent on the allegations, the issue has raised serious questions about internal candidate selection processes.
With Monday being the last date for filing nominations, it remains unclear whether the RJD will field its own candidate in Madhuban or leave the seat to an ally.
