Three Muslim Youths Attacked by Mob in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur District; Families Demand Justice

Three Muslim youths were brutally assaulted on Tuesday in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, by a mob after their religious identity was revealed. The incident took place near Paratapur, where the victims Wasim, Rizwan, and Aamir were attacked while returning home after work.
According to reports, the group was confronted by a mob wielding iron rods and sticks. The attackers inquired about the youths’ names and began to beat them upon learning they were Muslims. The assault left Rizwan and Aamir with serious injuries, while Wasim is in a critical condition and was rushed to an emergency ward.
The families of the victims have filed a police report, naming several suspects, including Deepak, Nikhil, JJ Kabr, and Pankaj. They have called for immediate arrests and for justice to be served.
Locals in the area have expressed their shock and anger over the attack, and the incident has created a climate of fear in the village. Many are now calling for the police to take swift action and ensure the safety of the community.
In response, Kunwar Gyananjay Singh, the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Hapur, stated that the police are treating the case as a serious matter and assured that the culprits would face the full force of the law.
The families of the victims, alongside local residents, are hopeful that justice will be served in the coming days.
