Three-Day “Islam & Science Exhibition” Begins Monday at Ali Public School and PU College
Event marks 25 years of the Islamic Academy and 15 years of Ali Public School; features Islamic history, science models and glimpses of old Bhatkal.

Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News) — To mark 25 years of the Maulana Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi Islamic Academy and 15 years of Ali Public School, a three-day “Islam & Science Exhibition” will be held on December 8, 9 and 10, 2025 (17–19 Jumada al-Thani 1447 AH). The event is being organised by Ali Public School and Pre-University College, according to the institution’s founder and general secretary, Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Nadvi.
He said the exhibition will showcase a variety of creative working science models prepared by students, along with displays highlighting important locations from Seerah, models of the Prophet’s Mosque during the Prophetic era, the house of Hazrat Aisha (RA), old Makkah and Madinah, and replicas of the Kaaba and Haram from the eras of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Cultural exhibits reflecting Nawayath heritage — including models of old Bhatkal, traditional houses, historic mosques and ancient markets — will also be part of the event.
Additionally, the Qur’an Museum located inside the beautiful building of the Maulana Abul Hasan Nadwi Islamic Academy on Jamia Abad Road will be open to the public. Rare artefacts on display include a hand-written two-inch Qur’an, a complete Qur’an written on a 17-foot-long and one-foot-wide cloth, a 350-year-old Mughal-era manuscript, a Qur’anic portion engraved on copper weighing over 350 kg, and a letter from Tipu Sultan granting custodianship of the historic Sultan Mosque in Bhatkal to a local family. Maulana Muhammed Ilyas Nadvi has invited the public to benefit from this unique Islamic and scientific exhibition.
