Thousands Gather in Bhatkal for Two-Day Tablighi Ijtima, Conclude with Dua

Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News): A two-day Tablighi Ijtima held at Anjuman Abad in Bhatkal concluded on Thursday 25 December 2025 night around 9 pm with an emotional and deeply moving collective prayer. The atmosphere at the venue turned intensely spiritual as thousands of participants raised their hands in supplication, many in tears, creating scenes that left a lasting impact on everyone present.

The Ijtima began on Wednesday shortly after the Fajr prayer and witnessed the participation of people from various parts of Bhatkal town and the surrounding areas. Throughout the event, several inspiring sessions were held focusing on strengthening faith, self-reformation, regularity in prayers, sincerity, the importance of Dawah and Tabligh, and living life according to the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Renowned scholars and senior members of the Tablighi Jamaat from Bhatkal and Bengaluru addressed the gatherings. Their heartfelt speeches deeply resonated with the audience and encouraged attendees to reconnect with their faith and practice Islamic teachings in daily life.

On the second day, a special session for scholars was organized at the Anjuman Masjid after the Zuhr prayer. Discussions revolved around religious responsibilities, the current condition of the Muslim Ummah, social reform, and the demands of religious outreach. Speakers emphasized that every Muslim must be concerned about their faith and actions and actively participate in spreading the message of Islam.

After the Asr Namaz, a separate session was conducted for students at the Anjuman Masjid. The youth were advised to balance education with strong religious values, avoid negative influences, and uphold good character and discipline. Students listened attentively and expressed their commitment to bringing positive changes in their lives.

In addition, a dedicated session was arranged for the fishing community in the dining area. Speakers addressed issues related to their religious, moral, and social lives, stressing the importance of earning halal livelihood, maintaining prayers, and staying connected with a religious environment.

A massive crowd gathered for the final session, with people arriving from different neighborhoods and nearby areas. As a result, many parts of the town, especially markets and commercial zones, remained unusually quiet. Shops closed early as residents chose to attend the concluding prayer over routine activities.

During the final supplication, prayers were offered for the guidance of the Muslim Ummah, peace and harmony in the country, social reform, protection of the youth, and forgiveness of the deceased. The emotional intensity of the moment was evident, with tears flowing freely among the participants, many of whom described the congregation as a spiritual turning point in their lives.

Organizers expressed gratitude to Allah for the successful completion of the congregation and thanked all participants, volunteers, and supporters for their cooperation. They voiced hope that the impact of the gathering would extend beyond individuals to families and the wider society, promoting religious awareness, moral reform, and Islamic values across Bhatkal and the region.
