Tanzeem to Host Workshop on Municipal Governance in Bhatkal this Monday

Bhatkal: The political panel of Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem is organizing a one-day workshop on “Municipal Administration and Local Governance” in Bhatkal on Monday, September 29.
Advocate Imran Lanka, an active member of the organization, announced that the workshop is open to youth, social workers, and members of the Municipal and Panchayat councils from Bhatkal and nearby areas.
“Young people who are interested in social service and community work, or wish to enter this field in the future, can greatly benefit from this workshop by attending through their local community committees,” said Lanka.
The workshop will cover the powers and responsibilities of municipal officials and councilors. Participants will learn how to approach the administration to solve public issues and how social workers can contribute to the public good. The event will also guide youth on how to effectively report local problems to the concerned authorities for resolution. Experts in the field have been invited to speak at the event.
The workshop will take place at Amnah Palace in Nawayath Colony, starting from 10 AM and continuing until the Asr prayer.
All Municipal Councilors and Panchayat members, both men and women, have been invited. Additionally, the Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation has been requested to send four young representatives from each locality to participate. The goal is to help youth build effective communication with local authorities and play a better role in solving community problems.
