Survey officials have begun visiting homes in Rahmat Abad, Bhatkal, at any time as part of the Karnataka Backward Classes Socio-Economic Survey 2025. All families are requested to fully cooperate during the survey and provide accurate information.

How to Prepare and What to Expect

  • Ready Your Documents:
Keep Ration Card, Aadhaar Card, and Voter ID ready for all family members. If new Aadhaar is applied for, keep the acknowledgment slip.
  • OTP Process:
Every household member—including those currently abroad (NRI/Gulf)—will receive a unique OTP on the mobile number linked in their Aadhaar.
    • It is crucial to inform NRI members to keep their phones active, ensure their SIMs are charged, and check for SMS messages regularly.
    • If an OTP is received, share it promptly with the survey official so they can complete verification.
  • Household Head Photo:
The team will photograph the head of the family or any present member.
  • Survey Details:
Be ready to answer questions related to:
    • Religion: Islam (Code No 2)
    • Caste: Muslim (A-1002)
    • Sub-caste (choose as applicable):
      • Navayat A-1061

    • Other questions: age, qualification, marital status, employment details, annual income, property, education, etc.
  • If a Member is Away:
