Sheikh Badr Al-Turki Arrives in Tanzania for International Quran Competition
The senior religious figure is attending the closing ceremony of Tanzania's International Quran Memorization Competition and conducting outreach activities.

With the kind approval of senior leadership and under the direct follow-up of His Excellency the President of the General Presidency, Sheikh Badr Al-Turki has arrived in the United Republic of Tanzania for an official religious visit.
The purpose of the visit is to attend the closing ceremony of Tanzania’s International Quran Memorization Competition, a prestigious event that brings together participants from across the country and the wider region in celebration of the Holy Quran.
Alongside the ceremony, Sheikh Al-Turki is also scheduled to carry out a number of Islamic outreach and da’wah activities during his stay in Tanzania, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen religious and cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Muslim communities around the world.
Such visits reflect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to supporting Quran education and spreading Islamic values globally, particularly in African nations with large Muslim populations.
