Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi to Deliver Friday Sermon at the Prophet’s Mosque
The Imam of Masjid al-Nabawi is set to lead this week's Jumu'ah prayer on 8 Shawwal 1447 AH.

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has announced that Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Abdur Rahman Al-Hudhaifi, Imam and Khatib of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, will deliver the Friday sermon this week.
The sermon is scheduled for 8 Shawwal 1447 AH, corresponding to this week’s Jumu’ah prayer at Masjid al-Nabawi — one of the holiest mosques in Islam.
As is customary, a backup preacher has also been designated. Sheikh Dr. Abdul Bari bin Awad Al-Thubayti will serve as the standby Khatib, ready to step in if needed.
The announcement was shared through official channels, as the General Presidency regularly informs worshippers and visitors in advance about who will be leading the Friday prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque.
Millions of Muslims around the world follow the sermons delivered at Masjid al-Nabawi, making these announcements a matter of wide religious interest.
