Shams School Honors Top Student at Annual Cultural Day Celebration
Usman Gani Hallare receives prestigious Najm-e-Ikhwan Gold Medal for outstanding academic excellence
Bhatkal, December 17, 2025 – New Shams School and Shams Pre-University College organized their Annual Cultural Day on Wednesday at Syed Ali Campus, Jamia Abad Road, Bhatkal. The event celebrated student achievements and showcased talents through various cultural performances.
The highlight of the day was the presentation of the Najm-e-Ikhwan Gold Medal to Usman Gani, son of Muqeem Usman Hallare, for his excellent academic performance during the 2024-25 academic year. This award is given every year to recognize the school’s best-performing student.
The celebration, which started at 9:00 AM, brought together students, parents, teachers, and prominent community members under the theme “Celebrating Talent and Triumph.”
Dr. Mohammed Saad Belgami, Ameer-e-Halqa JIH Karnataka, attended as the chief guest. The event also welcomed two guests of honor: Mr. Raaed Rahmat, Assistant Manager at DP World Dubai, and Moulana Nayeemuddin Siddiqui.
Janab Ismail Mohtesham, President of Tarbiat Education Society, presided over the program. Principal Mr. S. Leyagath Ali and Chairman Mr. Nazeer Ahmed Quazi, along with the school management and staff, coordinated the event.
The organizers made special seating arrangements for women attendees to ensure everyone could participate in the celebration.
This annual tradition continues to motivate students toward academic excellence while providing a platform to showcase their diverse talents and achievements.
