Saudi Arabia Condemns ‘Storming’ of Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound
The foreign ministry called on the international community to hold Israel accountable for violations against holy sites and civilians.

RIYADH – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially condemned the recent events at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, describing them as a “storming” by Israeli officials and settlers.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its “strongest condemnation” of the incident, which it said occurred under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. The ministry stated that these actions are part of the “continued attacks on the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
The statement emphasized the Kingdom’s complete rejection of any measures that could undermine the historical and legal status of Jerusalem and its holy sites.
Furthermore, Saudi Arabia called on the international community to intervene, urging that Israeli occupation authorities be held accountable for what it termed “serious and ongoing violations” against Islamic holy sites and innocent civilians in the State of Palestine.
