Rahul Gandhi Alleges ‘Vote Theft’, Promises to Reveal More Explosive Proof

Raebareli (Uttar Pradesh), PTI: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Thursday reiterated his allegation that the ruling BJP has been involved in large-scale “vote theft”, claiming that his party has already provided documentary proof and plans to release more explosive evidence in the coming days.
Speaking to reporters in Raebareli, his parliamentary constituency, Gandhi referred to the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and alleged that elections were “stolen” in states like Maharashtra, Haryana, and Karnataka.
“We have given black-and-white proof of how elections were stolen. In the coming time, we will give more dynamic and explosive proof,” Gandhi said.
He further claimed that the slogan “Vote chor, gaddi chhod” (Vote thieves, step down) is gaining momentum across the country, insisting that several state governments have come to power through manipulation and electoral fraud.
“This is the truth — governments are being formed by stealing votes,” he said. “We guarantee that we will provide more proof.”
In a pointed remark aimed at BJP leaders, Gandhi warned them not to be complacent.
“Don’t get agitated now. When the hydrogen bomb drops, everything will be wiped clean,” he said, using strong language to suggest major revelations are coming.
Rahul Gandhi is currently on a two-day visit to Raebareli, during which he chaired a District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting on Thursday. The session was held at the Bachat Bhawan auditorium in the district collectorate.
Several key public representatives were present, including Amethi MP K L Sharma and Minister of State Dinesh Pratap Singh.
As political tensions rise ahead of upcoming state elections, Gandhi’s statements have intensified the ongoing debate around the transparency of India’s electoral process.
