Qatar Denounces Israeli Incursion into Syrian Territory
Doha, August 26: The State of Qatar has strongly criticized the recent incursion by Israeli forces into Syrian territory, describing it as a clear violation of Syria’s sovereignty and a breach of international law.
In an official statement on Tuesday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs labeled the move as an unacceptable act that undermines international efforts to support Syria’s rebuilding, development, and the pursuit of lasting peace in the region.
The Ministry urged the international community to take firm action to curb Israel’s repeated attacks on Syrian soil. It warned that such practices not only endanger Syria’s stability but also pose serious threats to regional and global security.
Reaffirming Doha’s position, the statement highlighted Qatar’s full support for Syria’s sovereignty, unity, and independence. It also stressed solidarity with the Syrian people in their aspirations for stability and security.
