Public Program in Bhatkal to Implement Resolutions of 5th Bainul Jama’ti Conference; Citizens Urged to Participate
Gathering to be held at Tanzeem Jumma Masjid to brief public on approved proposals and future course of action
Bhatkal: A public meeting will be held in Bhatkal to discuss and take forward the resolutions passed at the recently concluded 5th Bainul Jama’ti Conference, which brought together representatives from across the city.
The conference, held last month, witnessed participation from representatives of 42 organisations and jamaats, including Bhatkal’s five major central institutions. Several individuals actively involved in social, educational, and welfare activities also took part in the deliberations.
According to a statement issued by Atiqur Rahman Muniri, Convener of the 5th Bainul Jama’ti Conference, the conference approved a number of important proposals and recommendations focusing on community welfare, social harmony, and civic development. The discussions were held in the presence of senior scholars, religious leaders, intellectuals, and socially conscious citizens.
To ensure effective and practical implementation of these resolutions, a public meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday February 11 after Isha prayers at 8:30 pm at Tanzeem Milya Masjid, Nawayath Colony. During the meeting, the public will be briefed in detail about the resolutions passed at the conference.
Senior Chief Qazis are expected to address the gathering and emphasise the importance of collective responsibility and coordinated efforts in carrying out the decisions.
In addition, a separate executive session for women will be held on Thursday, 12 February 2026, at 4:30 pm at Jamiatus Salihat, Jail Road, Bhatkal. The convener has requested participation in both sessions to ensure inclusive and effective implementation of the resolutions.
The organisers have appealed to the people of Bhatkal to attend the meetings in large numbers and support the initiative for the overall development and harmony of the community.
