Public Drinking Water Filter Installed in Azad Nagar, Inaugurated by Qazi Jamatul Muslimeen
Bhatkal: A new filtered water facility has been installed for the public at Azad Nagar 3rd Cross and was formally inaugurated by Qazi Jamatul Muslimeen Bhatkal, Maulana Abdul Rab Nadwi.
The initiative has been financed and set up by the Azad Nagar Friend Association (ANFA), a local sports team. The project aims to provide clean and safe drinking water to the public, completely free of cost.
During the inaugural program, the President of ANFA, Maulana Ilyas Jakti Nadwi, Vice President Maulana Ansar Khateebi Madani, and General Secretary Abdul Rahman Shipai were present. The event began with the recitation of the Quran by Moulvi Muqeet Durga.
According to the organizers, ANFA will also take full responsibility for the facility’s regular upkeep and maintenance to ensure uninterrupted service for the community.
