MUSCAT: In a moment of great pride for the community, Abdul Muhaimin Sada, a distinguished food vlogger from Bhatkal, has won the prestigious ‘Rising Star’ award in Oman. Muhaimin, widely known by his digital identity FoodCompanionOfficial, was recognized among the top talents at the first-ever Indian Content Creators & Inspirations Awards held in Muscat.
With a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, Muhaimin has established himself as one of the most credible voices in Oman’s food scene. He has built a strong community of over 58,000 followers who trust his authentic reviews and engaging storytelling. Having visited over 250 restaurants, his detailed voiceover reels and popular “Oman Series” showcase both hidden gems and renowned eateries across the Sultanate.
The award ceremony was a special event designed to celebrate the outstanding contributions of Indian content creators living in Oman. Organized by Areej Events & Marketing, the function took place at the beautiful Marsa Plaza in Al Mouj Muscat as part of the “Rhythms and Colors of India” cultural festival.
Muhaimin’s achievement is especially noteworthy as he was selected from a field of over 300 talented content creators. The event was inaugurated by the Indian Ambassador to Oman, H.E. G V Srinivas. An expert jury, including senior journalists and media professionals, selected the winners across various categories like travel, lifestyle, food, and fashion.
