Power Supply Disrupted in Bhatkal Due to Technical Fault
Electricity expected to be restored by 10:00 am as HESCOM addresses issue in main transmission line.
BHATKAL – Power supply has been temporarily disrupted across Bhatkal due to a technical fault in the main transmission line supplying electricity to the area.
According to HESCOM officials, the outage was caused by a technical fault in the 110 kV power line coming from Honnavar. The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) has been working to resolve the issue and has indicated that electricity supply is likely to be restored by 10:00 am.
The Assistant Executive Engineer of HESCOM, Bhatkal, has requested cooperation from residents and businesses during this period of power disruption.
