NUH, HARYANA: A three-day Islamic congregation organized by the Tablighi Jamaat concluded peacefully in Nayi Tarwada village of Nuh district. The gathering, which ended with prayers for peace and prosperity in the nation, attracted approximately 700,000 participants from various states including Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi.

As the event concluded and attendees began their journey home, a massive traffic jam stretched nearly 15 kilometers, causing delays for hours.

Symbol of Unity

The congregation became a remarkable example of communal harmony when members of the Hindu community came forward to serve food to the Muslim attendees. They prepared and distributed vegetables, biryani, and tea, which drew widespread appreciation. Hindu volunteers also set up health camps at the venue to provide medical assistance to participants.

Focus on Spiritual Values

During the gathering, special emphasis was placed on reducing mobile phone usage and ensuring better education for children. Maulana Saad, the head of Tablighi Jamaat, addressed the attendees and urged them to “completely abandon evil practices and follow the path of righteousness.” He encouraged people to focus more on prayers and religious duties.

Improved Arrangements

This year’s congregation witnessed not only a large crowd but also better arrangements for food, electricity, and parking facilities. However, the absence of main roads around the venue caused significant challenges. With mostly link roads available, thousands of vehicles had to pass through agricultural fields, leaving many people stuck in traffic for hours.

No-Smoking Zone

In Nuh district, where tobacco products like cigarettes, bidis, and gutka are commonly consumed, the organizers declared the main pandal area a “no-smoking zone.” Awareness banners and billboards were displayed at various locations. Volunteers were seen conducting thorough checks of visitors entering the main assembly area to ensure compliance.

Leaders Praise the Event

Congress MLA Aftab Ahmed commented on the successful gathering, saying, “Millions of people came together. Hazrat Maulana Saad gave an important message to people about following the right path, promoting Tablighi Jamaat work, and focusing on children’s education.”

He added that the crowd was enormous and the event showcased beautiful pictures of Hindu-Muslim unity, reflecting the spirit of communal harmony in the region.

The peaceful conclusion of the congregation has been viewed as a positive example of large-scale religious gatherings being conducted in an organized and harmonious manner.
